if you are askig what i think you're asking, you can add "campaign specific" dial status's. these are only available in a single campaign. which means that they would not be visible or available in any other campaign.
useful if you do not want to clutter up your main campaign dispositions, but have need of a special one for a single campaign.

if you are running 1 campaign or a thousand campaigns, it's fine to use the defaults, that's what they are there for.

Hi Guys,
I hope you are not mixing up 'dial status' and 'custom status' within a campaign.
As far as I know you always need to have a couple of dial status defined in your campaign - otherwise the hopper won't load any leads.
Thanks,

No this is not true, you don't require to add custom status for a campaign for leads to be loaded into hopper. Custom status are sometime required for specific campaign stats. Like I am running a campaign named TalkTalk and in my stats I have to tell how many caller was already TalkTalk customer. This can be only done, if I'll define a new campiagn specific status. I can define this as a system status, but then it will be available in my other campaigns, where I don't want this.
Best regards.

when doing a scratch install, you must create them.
but the folks at The Vicidial Group anticipated this for Vicibox users and the same goes for VicidialNOW creators. There is already a suitable set of these loaded and ready to go for "all campaigns".

Exactly. That's why I said you always have to add a DIAL STATUS...

Well, unless you want to dial "NEW" leads, that status is preloaded upon creation of a new campaign (on 2.0.4 & 2.0.5).
Just don't delete the "NEW" unless you add more (since you DO have to have at least one dial status ... and it would be helpful if there were some leads which have that status).
