Why the heck would you want to do this?
It will slow down your system and make it less stable with decreased audio quality and capacity.

I have Core 2 Duo (2.6GHz x2) with 1 GB RAM. I am not sure that with this configuration do we need to worry about quality?

You don't need X windows to run on the Vicidial/VicidialNOW servers. Most of the configuration is done via a web browser since the system is web based. Just fire up your web browser on your workstation and access the IP address of the VicidialNOW server. I'd recommend you read the VicidialNOW getting started guide her:
http://carlo.taguinod.net/vicidialnow/v ... -guide.pdf .

Thanks Gardo.
However, I would like to test some GUI commands like Network Configuration command through X11. I need to do some research. I would appreciate if someone let me know how to run X11.
Thanks in Advance.

I'd recommend you install X windows on a separate Linux machine and not on your VicidialNOW server. As Matt has pointed, it can slow down your system and make it less stable.
To configure some settings on your VicidialNOW server (network, date and firewall), run "help-vicidial" and it will give you some options.
