Hi, i want to setup a sangoma A102 card on a vicidialnow box, if i install vicidialnow with the card installed on the box, will the setup install the card ass well, or do i have to do this mannually, download dahdi linux dahdi tools, etc, and do i have to reinstall asterisk after installing all the dahdi stuff and wanpipe.

I experimented several times with a vicidialnow in a VM, installing dahdi and wanpipe, as stated on the sangoma website http://wiki.sangoma.com/wanpipe-linux-asterisk-dahdi and upgraded to asterisk 1.4.24.1, but when i restart asterisk i get an error when trying to log in as an agent in vicidial, "that is not a valid conference please try again".

CLI shows this error:
> Channel SIP/cc100-0a147a18 was answered.
-- Executing [8600051@default:1] MeetMe("SIP/cc100-0a147a18", "8600051|F") in new stack

Please help.

Thanks in advance.

We are still using zaptel currently. Since this is an Asterisk issue you could try posting on the Asterisk forum.

Is the dahdi linux kernel module loaded?

Yes, you do have to re-compile Asterisk after installing and configuring dahdi.

Sangoma cards are supported by the latest VicidialNOW (1.2). No need to upgrade to Asterisk 1.4 (unless you want some headaches). Just mount the your VicidialNOW CD and install the Sagoma RPM wanpipe drivers.

rpm -ivh /mnt/cdrom/CentOS/wanpipe-2.6.18-128.el5.vnow-3.5.4-0.i686.rpm
