Thanks very much matt for your response, i'm having another challenge; I discovered that the phone can not connect to vicidial whenever i log on to the agent user interface. My observation ; From the vicidial admin interface , i.e admin module, the server IP for phones was discovered to have added "Mask" to itself making the server IP to take thi format " 192.168.19.8Mask", can anyone tell me what is happening and how to solve this problem? thanks.

have you ever changed the ip address of the server?

when you initially installed your server, did you accidentally type the word mask in the ip address block?

if you use the admin script to change the ip address on the server, and use "192.168.19.8Mask" as the Old ip and 192.168.19.8 as the new ip, that could clean it out, but otherwise manually verify the server ip in all it's locations could be very time consuming.

depending on your installation method, i might recommend a full reinstall to avoid what may be all sorts of weird little problems arising from whatever caused this.
