best possible compaign settings

Just wondering if someone would like to share about their best campaign setting for the predictive dialer. I still have problems controlling the drop rate. If I slow the ratio, the agents wait for a long time. If I increase the ratio there are calls on the queue. I have 5 agents calling at the same time and put the predictive dialer at ratio of 2.7. What other settings are important? I am running vicidialnow 1.2 at the moment. Appreciate anyone's help.

to control good your situation of conpaign and the drop .
you need to be sure that you leads are correct with his number phone you need to cheak that you have not a wrong number in it you need to cheack if you context in it is good.
try to repaire you load average try to find if your provider let you call with more channels.

With 5 agents only you are going to have hard time balancing between fewer drops and busy agents.
