Hi Kumba! With the latest release seems that even if I choose yes on the question "have you a sangoma voicetime?" I have to change manually from dahdi_dummy to wanpipe_voicetime in "vicidial" file. Is that correct? On the other side it works flawless!

Hmm, apparently so. I will add that to the install script here in a little bit.

Anyone feel like writing some install documentation for ViciBox Redux? Something along the lines of what I did for this: http://download.vicidial.com/opensuse/o ... nstall.pdf

Just let me know, thanks.

path issue maybe?

Postby livehelp4us » Thu Apr 01, 2010 1:36 am

I think this is a path issue since the astguiclient script install is located in /usr/src/astguiclient/agc_2.2.0

I'll try to edit vicibox-install script

1) run yast2 live-installer

2) edit /usr/local/bin/vicibox-install

nano /usr/local/bin/vicibox-install

#then search for word install.pl, then above this line add this :

cd /usr/src/astguiclient/agc_2.2.0

3) run vicibox-install

4) run services manually

service vicidial stop
service mysql start
service vicidial start
/sbin/SuSEfirewall2 off

System environment :

1) Centos 5.4 64bit 8GBRAM QuadCore, installed with xen virtualization
2) Run ViciBox in xen virtual machine

wav2ulaw and wav2gsm both showed as not being installed, and gave pages of errors. Just thought I'd let you know. :)

Hi Kumba

When do you expect to have the multi server install version available?

There is no multi-server specific ViciBox install available. You can do a multi-server install by install ViciBox Redux and then disabling components you do not need running.

The only other thing that is a multi-server specific install is located here: http://download.vicidial.com/opensuse/

None of these options will do any of the database work that is required to get a multi-server cluster up and running.

As far as the wav2ulaw and wav2gsm errors I am trying to duplicate them. Is there any way you can copy and paste me the first 5-10 lines of the errors?
