Bandwidth problem

:(

I had such a bad time yesterday.. I am building vici from scratch though and currently doing a test run with manual cold calling.

I have 1mbps terminating at my center. I see 6 agents going bad with ulaw; they all complain about echo, breakage etc. I wonder how people put more than 20 agents on 2mbs line :(.

The reason why I am talking about this is, I will be putting vici @production day after on this test run; with about 50 agents month after for expansion. I really don't know what will be the costing like for that.. already crushing under budgets and my folks back at office gonna shoot me at point blank if I ask them another tech upgrade raise.

We have ordered xeon based multi processor system based on intel server grade rack boards... I reallly hope to pull it off guys else I am so dead.

Please help me out here with your suggestions; I am putting on GSM as default right now but I dont know what my next step should be.

I think its timing

Are you only using ztdummy?

Yup its ztdummy.

Its 1:1 pure connection from ISP.

I am a bit new to vici. Got managers' manual 2.2 but struggling to put autodial in work; manual works fine with few glitches which I am sure will be ironed out with practice and research.

We are planning to buy licenses of G729 or some bandwidth saver codec but need to test and show results to people back in office before purchase being made. We are also open to get audio codes and analog phones if required.

I have been given target to meet 50 seats end this quarter (April).. God save me!

Only for calling, we have one man sitting on their heads watching their activities on floor.. so no they can't use internet at all.

Its a wired connection with netgear 24 port switch.

you could also try a Sangoma VoiceTime USB stick for the hardware timer.

Matt, do you use these timers for your vicihost customers? I'm thinking about trying them out.

Yes, every ViciHost server has a Sangoma Voicetime USB timer connected to it.
