Vicibox confusion

Hey guys,

So I had someone assisting me with a scratch install but it has been a bumpy ride. Ubuntu has not been recognizing the Ethernet card so we started with openSUSE. Other problems were happening here and I though I would try the Vicibox redux. Well it seemed to work. I was loading lists, adding a carrier and ready to make some test calls then... when I rebooted I was back in the openSUSE operating system that was there prior to the Vicibox install? I do not know how to get to the Vicidial install (I a mquite the newbie) and I am confused becaused I thought that Vicibox would have erased everything on the hard drive.

So where did I go wrong and what do I do now (I say this alot)

thanks...

After you boot from the CD, you need to type 'os-install' to install the OS to the hard drive in the computer. Once this is done you need to type 'vicibox-install' to do the actual ViciDial installation.

If that's not the problem then you need to tell use how you are installing things.

somewhat helpful to take out the CD after you do the OS install, i suppose.

multiple partitions?

remember to delete all partitions before actually installing if you want a clean start.
