what version of vicibox are you installing? (installer version, not vicidial version since you have not installed that yet, but you should know the version/name of the .iso you burned, it's likely written on your disk or still in the computer you burned the .iso from)
when you say you can "make ping" ... what domain were you "pinging" and what was the response?
You could just say "No" to updating the operating system. After all, you are installing a fresh system and probably just updated the operating system (by installing it) moments ago, so updating could be completely redundant at this stage.

Trying to be sure you were pinging an FQDN and not an IP address (So we know you have access to the internet with DNS)
Also: What are you installing this on (Hardware)?

The second post you made in this thread looks like errors from where the installer has been ran multiple times. It can't re-create a symlink or move a directory if they have already been done.
I also take it that you corrected the issue you had connecting to the internet earlier? Seeing as how errors moving dahdi and phpmyadmin are well beyond the OS Update stage.

Found the bug. I'll be releasing ViciBox Redux v.3.0.6 tonight because of it.

if you post the "issue" with it, i can do another test install on the "old dell off-lease" and verify the fix (although it didn't experience any known bugs on 3.0.5, but if i'm LOOKIN for it ...
)

The issue has to do with selecting "Yes" on the OS Update when there is a kernel update (In this case 2.6.34.7-0.3). The end result is Dahdi does not install resulting in asterisk bombing out.
How can you fix this? Type 'zypper up' and then 'reboot' after the phase-1 install and prior to the phase-2 install. This makes sure any kernel updates are applied prior to install vicibox.
Of course, the other solution, is to not do an OS Update during phase 2, and do the update afterwards. You would then just use asterisk-recompile to compile on the new kernel.
In version 3.1 (which is whenever Matt releases the next branch), i'll probably change OS-Update to Software-Update. Meaning it will skip the kernels. You will have to do that manually.

i don't think an extra reboot would kill anyone who chose OS update ...

So what to do, try with 3.0.6 or how????

3.0.5: fresh install but do not choose "update OS" during the installation process.
3.0.6: it should be fixed (if 3.0.6 has been uploaded already)

download the manager's manual from eflo.net (this is the home page of the people who made the software you just downloaded, "The Vicidial Group").
on their site you can download the free (or purchase the HIGHLY recommended paid version of the) Manager's Manual. Begin at the START of the manager's manual, complete all the exercises and tutorials (don't skip anything).

This problem will happen again with 3.0.6 when OpenSuSE decides to release a kernel update.
I have modified the v3 install document to include an optional Phase 1.5, where you manually to the OS Update and reboot prior to the Phase 2 install. This should virtually eliminate this issue from reoccurring.
Best way to start with ViciDial is to get the Manager Manual and run through the how-to's.
