Hi

When installing a cluster there is an option on both the DB and Web installations to install VTiger. Must one choose to install on both?

THAT is a heck of a question.

I would try it out and see if the vTiger installation uses the DB server or if it uses its own local mysql even in a Cluster. that will give you your answer.

We don't use vTiger for any of our present clients. (Therefor no recently clustered systems with Vicibox vTiger)

But Kumba would probably know.

If you are using the database for VTiger then you need to select 'Y' for VTiger.

If you are using the webserver for VTiger then you need to select 'Y' for VTiger.

If you do not install the web component of VTiger on the web server, they won't be able to access VTiger.

if you do not install the database component of VTiger on the database server, you won't be able to use VTiger.

So, short version, say yes to both places.
