voice file Encryption

Hi williamconley,
I am saving my voice files in GSM format, is it possible to Encrpyt the voice files and save it in the server and encrypt an paly it.

are you referring to https or some other form of encryption (in the actual files)?

I don't think encryption of audio files will help you in any way. Rather, you should think about improving your system's security, in terms of remote access, authentication, Asterisk security, etc. You will find several articles online related to Asterisk and Linux security.

right, but certain compliance standards still require encryption during storage to guard against theft.
thus the question of whether he referred to https (ssl during transit) or some other form of encryption
