After I install the server box and complete the phase 2, and reboot, the program stays at the Linux Console login. How do I transfer the control to Desktop? Did I miss any steps during installation to choose the Desktop? Can someone help me ?

there is no desktop. this is a SERVER. you will only use command line. have you read the installation manual?
