64 Bit 3.1.8 USB Keyboard Problem

Intel DP55KG Motherboard with I7 processor..

Motherboard ONLY has USB no PS2 keyboard support. Boots fine and I am able to get past phase 1 fine. After performing os-install the keyboard works fine until after the reboot. At that point the keyboard is no longer recognized. Not even the num lock works.

I have tried changing the bios USB legacy to both on and off with the same results..

Any thoughts?

Just tried the 32 bit version and it works fine. Must be a USB problem with only the 64 bit version.

I don't suppose you'd be willing to go back and try the 64bit again (now that the 32 bit works) to verify that the exact same BIOS settings work for one but not the other 8)

THANKS for posting the motherboard model number, very handy!

Already tried... The 64 bit will not handle the keyboard..
