Single Server Question

is it possible to have a single server with everything and add another server to just handle web/asterisk and then point that server to the server with the database?

Reason for asking, i already have a single server that does everything and we are adding 8 more stations. I just don't want to overload that server. If any further information is required please let me know and i give what ever info i can.

Cool beans, the only other question is, i have to have the same version of vicidial that is currently installed so that the servers match? How do i go about getting the version i have. I looked and could not find 2.4.**, only 2.1.**.

They have to have the same version of admin.php, vicidial.php and the DB Schema Version(from System Settings). In other words, the same svn checkout version or the same release version. The specific version of vicibox doesn't matter.

K i have my DB schema which is 1279. Now i would assume, but may be wrong, that the verison above DB schema with the version number 2.4b0.5, would that be the admin.php or is the vicidial.php. If not how would i go about verifying what version that is currently being used?
