Time Sync when using External IP Address and Block Port 80

Most recent ViciBox preload image, express install, works perfectly fine on internal ip address. Cox is blocking my port 80 from home. When I connect through xlite with my external IP it enables fine and I can manually dial, however the vicidial gui gets time sync errors. I feel this is because my port 80 is blocked? How do I configure to use port 8080 if this it the problem?

I've also updated the server with ADMIN_update_server_ip.pl to use my external IP and xlite to use the external IP but still get time sync.

When I put the local ip into xlite and leave external IP in server, still get same error.

Also, my router doesn't appear to offer port translation/redirection. If someone knows the name of such a router readily available to purchase at a chain store I'll go pick it up if it can resolve my issue.

EDIT: I've gone into /etc/apache2/listen.conf and changed it to Listen 8080 and rebooted but now I can't access the gui at all with 1.2.3.4:8080 - I'm lost.

I also feel that may need a permanent redirect directive? Help me gods of linux/vicidial!

when u changed the web port to 8080 did u also allow it on the firewall? I am guessing u didn't. u might want to add the port on ur firewall

Are you running any locel firewall on the server (iptables?)
