2 servers for a cluster

Hi All!
I just want to ask if I could configure a cluster configuration that consists of only 2 servers? 1 - DB; 1 - telephony and web?
Right now I have an old IBM eServer xSeries346 that I plan to install the Telephony/Web, and an HP Proliant DL120G7 for the database. I have tried installing Vicibox on an HP Pro 2000MT Desktop and found that it is pretty much easy to install following the walkthrough instructions on the site. Am I on the right track? And can I use the setup above for 50-65 agents?
Thanks in advance!
Regards

You can use 500 if you want, but you won't know if the 2 server cluster holds it until you actually load it up. No matter what anyone says, there is no guarantee it will work.
The rule of thumb is 25 users per dialer. 65 agents = 3 dialers. If you have less, it may work, but then again it may not.
Recording all calls? g729? Lots of bandwidth? Survey Campaign? Experienced dialer manager (2.5:1 dialing instead of 6:1 dialing ...?)?

Hi sir william,
Thanks for the input. Appreciate it.
Recording all calls - yes
g729 - yes
bandwidth - how much is recommended for a 65 - 100 seats?
campaign - outbound telemarketing
dialer manager - im thinking of limiting it to 4:1 max

recording all calls?
g729 is processor intense. recording all calls is as well. 4:1 dialing is kinda hefty. You may only be able to get 15-20 agents per dialer.

G729 needs around 32Kbps but I use 40Kbps for calculation to be on safe side. So If the cluster is hosted locally on you LAN, for 65 agents you need 2.6Mb down, and as you are using 4:1 ratio so definitely you need more for up. And if the server is remotely hosted, you need 2x bandwidth (1x for bandwidth between server and agent and 1x between server and your VOIP provider).

Thanks for all the posts. Greatly appreciated. I have installed a single server for the meantime and will research on how to add additional server. Probably an asterisk server, as per ruben23, to do load balancing.
Thanks guys!

Vicibox .iso is capable of installing an additional server on a cluster during the installation. Read through the installation instructions thoroughly. Kumba did a good job.
If you feel the need to do this manually, we wrote a manual for an earlier version (before Kumba added this feature to the installer) which is still valid, but obviously more time consuming than just answering the questions in Kumba's installation wizard.
