How users connected with phones?

I'm total newbie in ViciBox installation, and I've followed the ViciBox_v4-Install.pdf tutorial for initial network configuration.
I used the vicibox-express command for express installation of my vicidial.

After that I'm following manager's tutorial from the vicidial web-site which step by step explains how to setup first campaign.
I like the tutorial, but I don't like the result I'm getting by following it. At the end it says: "Sorry, your phone login and password are not active in this system, please try again?"

I was looking for the solution on your forums and read every single topic where "Sorry, your phone login and password are not active in this system, please try again?" error were mentioned, but I found no useful information (in fact 70% of such topics send people to read tutorial or forums, which I'm actually following now for first setup). And Zoiper aren't receiving any call after such error message - Safari invites me to type my login & password again if I hit submit button again, it displays the same error message.
While it is highly advised to have basic Linux skills when installing VICIbox server, it is not required. If you follow our Installation Manual you should end up with a fully functioning VICIDIAL system. vicibox-dot-org/server/index.html

I do have basic Linux skills and installation manual didn't end up with fully functioning VICIDIAL system for me, and this is my 3rd day of being stuck with problem, and I don't have enough expertise to see where is the problem.

And yes, I've checked whether my phones, campaigns, users and user groups are active - yes they are all active.
I'm using Zoiper as my SIP client on my Mac OS X Mountain Lion & Safari browser for login as an Agent.

I went even further - I typed "sip show peers" in my asterisk and it showed 3 active sessions - 2 of which has "OK" status - 1 of them is my SIP Trunk to my VoIP provider, and 2nd is my Zoiper connected to Asterisk. So probably asterisk's saying that's nothing wrong with my SIP setup as far as Zoiper also not showing any mistakes while registering on my SIP-server (192.168.0.38).

I've used this tutorial for initial setup ViciBox_v4-Install.pdf (available on vicibox web-site)
And this tutorial vicidial-dot-org/store.php#MANAGER (manager) to setup campaigns, even purchased high-resolution version (and religiously followed every step)
I've used this iso to install my system: ViciBox.i686-4.0.1.preload.iso

I've found out that user modification page has next field: Phone Login and Phone Pass
I thought maybe that's the way the system finds out which web-user are linked to which phone. But according to the description given on the (?) icon - its not.

When I followed manager's tutorial, among the first steps the one was the configuration of the phones in admin category, then closer to the end of the tutorial there's steps to create the user.

I can see the campaigns on agent's login page in the scroll list of campaigns, when I login with 7777 user. But I can't see any campaigns when I try to login with the phone login "201" (probably because it is not supposed to be used this way). At the same time I don't see how vicidial should know whether 7777 user is that SIP-phone with login "201"? Should I even create a user? (Maybe there's the other way to login?)

Any help or even useful reference to the tutorial which explains how to solve this problem would be appreciated.

I just found out that you have to specify phone login at the first login screen, and you have to specify user login at the second login screen in the agent section.

But once I specify phone login when I've created in admin / phones section, it doesn't shows me any campaigns - like it was wrong password.

Could anyone just point where's my thinking goes wrong?

campaigns needs to be active before a user can chose them

Thanks Michael

I solved it, but don't know how: I just filled that strange fields Phone Login and Phone Pass with the same info while creating new user as the username and password of the user.

Also when I were creating the new phone, I filled one field with the user login.
That's what I actually did

I've solved this problem and topic is closed, now I'm doing my best to solve another problem.
