The ISO image that ViciBox v.6+ has been built with is capable of booting from either a USB or CD-ROM. For a CD-Rom you simply burn it to a CD and boot from it. To USB boot from a thumb drive there is an intermediary step.

Please keep in mind that these instructions will destroy any data on the USB thumb drive that you use. With that being said, here is how you make a USB ViciBox Installer:

1) Download ImageUSB and install - https://www.osforensics.com/tools/write-usb-images.html
2) Plug a USB thumb drive into a port on your computer, keeping in mind that all data will be lost on the thumb drive
3) Start ImageUSB
4) Select the USB drive to burn the image to in the top window labeled "Step 1"
5) Select "Write image to USB drive" in the section labeled "Step 2"
6) Click on the "Browse" button in the box labeled "Step 3" and select the ISO file for ViciBox
7) Verify that everything is correct, as there is no undo and the next step is destructive to the device you selected
8) Click "Write" button in Step 4

If you get any errors about not being able to access the thumb drive, you might need to exit out of ImageUSB and close any windows that are open like 'File Explorer', etc. Then go back into ImageUSB and it should work.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THIS IS DESTRUCTIVE TO THE USB THUMB DRIVE! MAKE SURE YOU BACKUP ANYTHING ON THE DRIVE BEFORE STARTING THIS PROCESS

Yes, ViciBox v.6 and later (6/7/8) can be successfully booted from USB using the ImageUSB utility.
