To mix sound files and having background

VERSION: 2.4-309a, BUILD: 110430-1642, GoAutoDial CE 2.1, 2.6.18-238.9.1.el5.goPAE (SMP), Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz, Single Machine


Is there a tool to be able to mix a wave file (was recorded before) with another music file to be in background, so while hearing the prompts, there is a music in the background? Can someone advise?

sox (linux app, already in Vicibox servers). Complex but very powerful app.

Or load Audacity on your desktop and use that. Excellent free software.
