Some leads dialed again, some not

Postby caspar » Wed Mar 28, 2007 9:55 am

We have loaded a list with 1025 leads.

The campaign that uses this list is setup as follows:
Allow Closers: Yes
Dial status 1: NEW - New Lead
Dial status 2: N - No Answer
Dial status 3: B - Busy
Dial status 4: CALLBK - Call Back
Dial status 5: -
List Order: DOWN
Lead Filter: NONE
Hopper Level: 10
Dial Method: Manual
Auto Dial Level: 0
Available Only Tally: N
Drop Percentage Limit: 3%
Maximum Adapt Dial Level: 3.0
Latest Server Time: 2100
Adapt Intensity Modifier: 0
Dial Level Difference Target: 0
Next Agent Call: random
...
Alt Number Dialing: Y
Scheduled Callbacks: Y
...

The call center is now finished dialing the list. All 1025 leads have been called.

The problem is that some leads has been called more than once, e.g. N, B, CALLBK statuses, but some leads that should have been called again like N, B, CALLBK have only been called once! If I understand correctly the vicidial_list table stores the LAST status of the lead. But if the last status is for example B then it should be dialed again.

Why would this happen? Is there something wrong with the configuration or do I not understand the lead dialing process correctly?

So what I did to resolve the problem was to click on the "Reset Lead-Called-Status for this list" field in the VICIDIAL ADMIN - List page so that these numbers can be followed up.

Did I do the right thing? Should we always reset the list at the end or how is it suppose to work?

Do you have a B status lead recycle entry set up in your campaign detail screen?

A-HA! I did not see that setting at the bottom of the screen. I will set it up at let you know if we still experience problems.

Thanks a lot!

I noticed in the help pop-ups that this setting only works in Autodial mode. Is there a similar setting for manual dial?

I had changed the functionality of lead recycling and did not change that bit of documentation, it does work properly in manual dial mode. Lead recycling works through the hopper script so it works for any kind of dialing campaign.

Set a lead recycling entry for B at the bottom of the campaign detail screen.

With that version of admin.php you do have lead recycling in your "Campaign Detail" screen. it is at the bottom.

Have you read the manager manual?
