How to use VICIDIAL just for Scripts (CRM interface)

Can someone help me on how to use VICIDIAL just for managing scripts and clients informations management,

The telephony is managed by a separated classic system.

We have clients that have done this using dummy carrier entries, but an Asterisk server does have to exist, even if it is only to call itself in silence.

No document or tutorial for that, it's not a common request, we've only set it up twice in 6 years.

Basically you need to set the dial prefix to go to the loopback IAX trunk using the dialplan and just have everything go to the same message, or an immediate hangup if you want.
