**Resolved.** ViciBox-a2billing Integration

So I have ViciBox setup on one server, and a2billing setup on another server. Currently A2billing\asterisk1.8 has all my carriers, and then the vicibox has the correct information to connect to the a2billing\asterisk1.8 server.

** Without a2billing, when an agent logs in and they click resume they hear nothing. Then when the server passes them a call. they hear the swish sound.

**With a2billing, they can actually hear the phone ring, and when it picks up they hear customer and so on and so on.

I would like to have a2billing, but it be completely transparent. With a2billing right now things are slightly different. For instance, if I turn the ratio up, it will show four calls awaiting agents, but in reality, those are calls that are just connected to the a2billing\asterisk-1.8. Not like it is connected with a customer.

It's like there being another asterisk server in front of ViciDial is tricking Vicidial. LOL. Vici goes to make the call and automatically thinks its a live call because it is going through the second asterisk server on a2billing.

if a2billing has an "answer" function anywhere in the dialplan, vicidial will believe there is a client on the line. modify your a2b path to avoid any answer until a real answer occurs.

Its not on the same server. What are you having an issue with?

it's not usually "integration" as much as A2B becomes the carrier for Vicidial. Works nicely with low to moderate call volume.
