do you have g729 installed?

you posted lots of DEBUG cli from variouis other activities, but none from the 13054071579@trunkinbound call. i'm expecting you to find that the g729 handshake fails because it's not installed or that your route to the ingroup is somehow not working. try letting the call go to 'extension' (use the default one already there). if you get the standard "this number is not in service" "goodbye" and that same CLI output to match, begin from that point trying to route the call. if you don't, then check that SIP DEBUG to see if the handshake is failing (if the two server cannot agree on a codec that's actually installed in both servers, the call will terminate at the moment audio begins).

as i said before: you showed CLI, but your DEBUG cli was for unrelated calls. and if you installed g729 yourself, it is entirely possible you failed. but if the call ends during the handshake, this will be shown in the DEBUG for that call. and it could well be that your g729 is the flaw.

you showed the end of one call that may or may not have been related and another registration failure.

perhaps you should turn off all other connections and note exactly what happens during a single call from beginning to end.

i'm mostly interested in getting a single call from INVITE to BYE.

if you are using putty to capture, you may need to use "shift page up" to get earlier output. if you set your putty "Window->Lines of scrollback" to a nice huge number (like 20000?) you'll be much more able to grab earlier output. And then there's the "Copy to clipboard" option which will allow you to drop it into notepad or word and extract the section from invite to bye! 8-)

you should re-enable the firewall and expressly allow the IP of your VOIP carrier through the firewall along with any external agents or administrator IPs. if you leave it open for more than a few days you will be attacked.

i'm not sure, but i believe later versions of goautdial have a firewall control panel for just such an occasion.

you are building your own dialplan instead of using Vicidial.

change the "context" for the inbound carrier to "trunkinbound" and Vicidial will handle the calls for you and you can do it all in the web administration system in Vicidial.
Code: Select all
context=trunkinbound

This should be the setting for ALL carriers in the "Account Entry" field. There is never a reason for any other "context=" value. Trust me. ;)

oh: And remove any customizations you made to extensions.conf and/or sip.conf or any other conf file manually with the sole exception of "externip" in sip.conf if you needed that to communicate with your carrier.

Download the Vicidial Manager's Manual from EFLO.net (which is the Vicidial Group's main site, the owners of this software!). Get the free version of the manual. Start at the first page and verify you have done everything on every page until it works the way you want it. Including inbound.

You would do much better to have the inbound call routed to an "On-Hook" remote agent (or two or three) to allow music on hold, failover to the next agent if they don't answer, and failover to VM if nobody ever answers.

This is what Vicidial is built for.

Otherwise you could just as well be using Asterisk and build it all yourself. Cool, but it takes months to learn all this stuff. But the Vicidial Manager's Manual will walk you through all the basic setup.

I also moved your post from general to support where it belongs. 8-)

Consider looking at "Vicibox.com" for their .iso which also installs Vicidial (the actual software you are using, which has two installation methods from .iso: GoAutoDial and Vicibox). Vicibox is supported by The Vicidial Group and everyone else in the project. GoAutoDial is supported only by a select few (PoundTeam, where I work, is one of them). But in all cases, you will be installing Vicidial which is the Dialer software you want to use. Both have their good points. Both are free.

Happy hunting!
