Escaping or Delimiting Symbols in Custom Field type Script

This past week in Training I thought I had found the Holy Grail when I became aware we could perform scripting using script variables in the Vicidial Custom Form's Custom Field's.

My joy was short lived. Trying to imbed the agent's script in an attempt to synchronize, the data entry with reciting the script is proving to be pretty much useless unless there is a way to delimit or escape apostrophes, and other symbols without modifying the code. Has there been any advance in this area or is this one of those "Pay us or modify the code yourself?"
I mean this with no disrespect.

At this point you'd have to test it and see. With the latest SVN revision of the code, of course. And if that's not up to your requirement, that's all there is. No hidden advancements. Open Source Project.
