All,
I'm in process of implementing and testing Netborder CPD and notice there is a log entry for a "Reference ID". This is to be added to the sip header and I'd like to use the vicidial_list.lead_id.
What would be the best place to work this into a setup? I assume I could just place SipAddHeader(X-Netborder-Cpa-Reference-ID: 123456) in the dialplan entry but am unsure of what if any variables exist in that context.
Any way to set a custom variable within the dialplan context?
Thanks!

It's not exactly as I was needing but it will get the job done.
In my Dialplan Entry I just added a line
extension,n,SipAddHeader(X-Netborder-Cpa-Reference-ID: ${CALLERID(name)})
Which puts vicidial_manager.callerid field into the cpa-stats.csv file. This can be parsed to grab the vicidial_list.lead_id for the call in question.

Just so you know, Sangoma CPA/CPD/Lyra will work better with Asterisk 1.8 if you are dialing at high call volumes.

Currently using 1.4 and it looks like the latest version of goauto is also 1.4.
Is upgrading asterisk just a make install or is there considerable changes required to dial plan for that type of upgrade?
Link to any specific 1.8/cpd documentation would be helpful! Thanks!

Asterisk 1.8 is the default on Vicibox 5.X ISO installs. I'm not sure if the CentOS kernel used by GoAutoDial will support Asterisk 1.8 or not.
The documentation is in the code, there are a few conf file changes needed when upgrading to 1.8, but they are not substantial on a standard vicidial install.

1.8 & updated vicidial is now on our current road map for future improvement.
What are some of the benefits of having 1.8 over 1.4 that one would notice when using the Lyra CPD?

With Sangoma's CPD/CPA/Lyra product and Asterisk 1.8 dialing at high call volumes you will see less lost calls, faster connects and less warning messages and missed SIP messages. It increases the effectiveness, basically.
