screens between vicibox and goautodial

Postby raloheni » Sun Oct 06, 2013 7:56 am

Hi just installed goauodial v 3.0
i have been using vicibox for a year.

the question is in goautodial 3.0 i can see only 9 screens
screen -list
There are screens on:
7218.goautodial_d (Detached)
7076.asterisk (Detached)
7228.ASTlisten (Detached)
7231.ASTVDauto (Detached)
7225.ASTsend (Detached)
7237.ASTVDadapt (Detached)
7240.ASTfastlog (Detached)
7222.ASTupdate (Detached)
7234.ASTVDremote (Detached)
9 Sockets in /var/run/screen/S-root.

and in vicibox i can see below screens
4090.asterisk (Detached)
4077.ASTfastlog (Detached)
8325.ASTsend (Detached)
8322.ASTupdate (Detached)
4004.astshell20110228193500 (Detached)
8334.ASTVDremote (Detached)
8328.ASTlisten (Detached)
12192.ASTVDadapt (Detached)
8331.ASTVDauto (Detached)
9 Sockets in /var/run/screen/S-root.

comparing both astshell20110228193500 is missing in goauotdial .
what is the purpose of this screen, will it create a problem if its not running.
if its not running how to make it run in screen.

Also can some post the troubleshoot for this screen," if any screen is not running what is the trouble shoot to run it "

1) Welcome to the Party! 8-)

2) As you are obviously new here, I have some suggestions to help us all help you:

When you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method and vicidial version with build.

This IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "from scratch" you must post your operating system and should also post the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system. If your installation is "Hosted" list the site name of the host.

If this is a "Cloud" or "Virtual" server, please note the technology involved along with the version of that techology (ie: VMware Server Version 2.0.2). If it is not, merely stating the Motherboard model # and CPU would be helpful.

Similar to This:

Vicibox X.X from .iso | Vicidial X.X.X-XXX Build XXXXXX-XXXX | Asterisk X.X.X | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation | Intel DG35EC | Core2Quad Q6600

3) Why are you checking on this? Is your server misbehaving or are you just out lookin' for trouble?
