Where can I find the source code for 1.8.23.0-vici? download.vicidial.com seems to only have the beta packages.

All you need to do with Asterisk v.1.8 is copy the enter.h and leave.h files to the source and apply the netboarder-cpd-1.8.patch.

I've gone ahead and applied the patches in this tarball if you want it: http://download.vicidial.com/required-a ... ici.tar.gz

Hello Kumba,

I downloaded the tarball and did a make clean && make all && make install -- it successfully installed asterisk but the chan_sip was not created - I applied this to a vicibox 5, tried to apply the patch manually but I got this:

cc-dl01:/usr/src/asterisk-1.8.23.0.old # patch channels/chan_sip.c -p1 < netboarder-cpd-1.8.patch
patching file channels/chan_sip.c

Ok, I have sorted out the problem, I was missing he openssl-devel libraries, after I installed them I was able to build asterisk with SIP, however I have found another problem, its not enabling creating chan_dahdi nor app_meetme, from the menuselect it says it requires Depends on: dahdi(E), tonezone(E), res_smdi(M) Can use: pri(E), ss7(E), openr2(E), and all of them are installed, so not sure what else I'm missing, this is for asterisk 1.8.23.0-vici on vicibox 5.0.3

Ok, I manage to recompile Asterisk, I had to recompile Dahdi, I downloaded the latest source from Asterisk and recompile it, after that I was able to recompile asterisk with using asterisk-1.8.23.0-vici, however I can't still get the CPD active, I enabled the CPD on the campaign, and tried to place a call, ran sip debug but the SIP messages didn't showed the cpd=on and the Sangoma Lyra also complained it is not receiving the correct sip messages, I'm doing this on a lab server I have not modified my cluster yet as per I want to do it once I know its working, on my cluster I have 1.8.23.1-vici, any hint or help its appreciated.

Regards.
