Safe Harbor CallMenu Not Forwarding CallerID

Vicibox 3.04 From 64bit-Preload.iso VERSION: 2.8-403a BUILD: 130510-1350 : Asterisk 1.4.44-vici : NO Digium HArdware : Single Server
AMD 8-CORE 4Ghz 16GigRAM : MSI 3070 Mboard : 3-2TB SATA Drives : Disabled RAID : No extra software :


We set up the Dropped Call Safe Harbor to point to a CALLMENU. The problem is the CallerID doesn't get forwarded.
The poor sap that ended up in the call menu really wants to talk to an agent, when he gets connected we have no info and the agent has to do a tap dance and wing it by asking "WHO IS THIS?"


Following are my settings in Campaiign
Drop Call Seconds: 3
Drop Action: CALLMENU
Safe Harbor Exten: 8307
Safe Harbor Audio: buzz
Safe Harbor Audio Field: DISABLED
Safe Harbor Call Menu: FTC_Abandon

In my CALLMENU called FTC_Abandon
Option: 1
Description: Transfer to Next Available Agent SalesLine
Route: INGROUP
In-Group: SALESLINE
Handle Method: CIDLOOKUPRC (we have numerous call lists)
Search Method: SO (Stand alone server)
List ID: (originally was 998, I blanked it out still no results)

Option: 2 is Voicemail with email notification Callerid is forwarded.
Option: 3 is AGI cm_dnc.agi and it works too.

when you upgraded ... did you "copy sample conf files"?

This system is as it was from the ISO.
It has not been 'upgraded'.
Please, where can I find these sample .conf s?
Should I download the latest ISO? and reload the mysql data?

OK: So you installed this with vicibox 3.0.4 ... and vicidial version 2.8 ... recently? Because Vicibox 3.0.4 is very old. Vicidial 2.8 is very new ...

If you execute the install.pl script it will "reinstall" without actually changing anything (since it will install the same version you have now, no effect on the DATA, only the scripts). During this process, you will be offered the option to copy the sample conf files. Say "Yes" and it will grab them and put them where they belong. A reboot will then activate them.

Or you can search for ".conf" and find the ones inside the /usr/src/astguiclient/trunk folder and "figure out" where they go by finding files of the same name (/etc/asterisk) and copying them.

Thanks, I ran that script located in /usr/src/astguiclient

If that is the same script that ran during the initial install what would be different? The samples?
Anyway I have followed your instructions, and we will see if the callerid is forwarded to the callgroup.
To be clear the callerid info is being delivered to the 2nd and 3rd option.

I suppose the best option is to download the latest iso. Install and restore the mysql backup.
This would insure asterisk 1.8 and the latest vicidial.
Am I missing a step? Besides copying/restoring any custom cron or html scripts?

I do not know if rerunning the install script solved this, but apparently the caller ID with customer info is being delivered, but the application is not aware of the call list.
Therefore the custom Fields w/scripts are absent.
Its better than not knowing their name.
