Postby linck75 » Wed Nov 13, 2013 3:08 pm

Hi I'm new at this but i think I have to post my vicidial info.

Vicidial
VERSION: 2.8-417a
BUILD: 131019-0849

When I log in to vicidial in to 1 of my campaigns I am able to do outbound calls but when I try to do a 3 way the system dials the other person answers but still I get
a dial time out message and I get this on my asterisk info.

Have you tried to call the transfer line manually? :D

VERSION: 2.8-417a
BUILD: 131019-0849
Revision: 2039

We have installed the same version and we have similar problems. I'm suspecting this is a bug. We spent 2 days comparing settings with another server (older version) and testing settings but with no clear outcome yet.

What happens?

When we do manual dial via the agent screen we are able to call that number but at the same time we get a dial timeout popup after some time.
When we handle an inbound call and select transfer-conf > park customer dial it seems it dials the number of number we have filled out in the number to call field and we actually get connected but it also it starts calling the inbound caller and eventually gives a dial timeout popup. Once we press the Leave 3-way transfer button nothing happens. Once we choose hangup customer or hangup both lines the agent gets in the dispo screen but is still in the same conference with that client and the called party!

We are going to try an older SVN release now and see what happens. I smell a bug...

We have several clients running this version that do thousands of 3-way calls each day, and they haven't reported this problem. Please let me know if you are able to identify any specific problems in the code.

I called Bill and he told me this is a vicibox bug.

To fix it open console:

Yep, known Vicibox bug, not Vicidial. So Matt isn't actually in it. Simple fix, just put in your REAL asterisk version after installation in admin->servers.
