Dispo Screen no appearing after Hangup - intermittend

Hello Folks,
Version: 2.8b0.5 | SVN Version: 2005 |ViciBox Redux v.4.0.3
Cluster: [DB + WEB] + 2 Diallers
Campaign: Click to Dial
Browsers: IE8, and IE 9.

I have a really frustrating intermittent issue. :) My system has been running fine for almost 6 months with no issue.

In a click to dial campaign, intermittently, when the agents hangs up, the Dispo Screen does not appear. The entire UI is frozen. The agent has to close the browser and log in again. Any ideas on where to start trouble shooting this? :shock:

Once same thing happened on my server.

I have checked all thing on server but after some time I realized that it was network problem.

Thanks udy786 - I suspect the same, (but don't tell any one that just yet - I need to get to the bottom of this.)
Did you guys find the exact issue on your network?

On the vicidial webserver in the apache logs is there an entry generated when the disposition request is launched? Is there an entry in the Vicidial logs? Sometimes I wish I could run the entire cluster in Verbose mode. :!:

What bothers me most is that I have a screen shot of the agent interface freezing up and I can't find a call for that agent at that time - this might just be user error on my side, but I want to also establish what happens to a recording and call log in such a situation?

PS: Would looking at lagged agents be any use? What exactly are lagged agents? after this discussion is the metric still worth looking at?

Having looked at the LAGGED report, I found my agent, the exact time that the UI froze and my lead. So I guess that's the smoking gun. Is there anyway to pinpoint why the agent interface would freeze?
All the agents are on a gigabit lan to the servers on a network that is Cisco start to finish. Could QoS favoring voice be to blame? Could it be the agent PC itself?

Any input will greatly be appreciated.

When this problem was in my network, that time a IP was configured on two PCs. Whenever both PCs going live and logged on then in that case only one agent was live and other gone freeze. I am using Ubunut in agent's PC so its not showing duplicate IP error.

May I know, are you getting this problem on all PCs or only on some PCs?

For debug,
1. you can ping from that PC to server....may be getting any Packet loss or drop...
2. Install firebug on browser and check, is your browser sending request to server continue....

Vicidial and Goautodial normally preferred to use on Firefox..... Once try with Firefox......

Ive had some strange things happen like this when the correct Asterisk version is not set on the server correctly Admin>servers>telephoneservername> Asterisk version = "version" mine is 1.8.25.0-vici

Hi Guys,

I'd like to post back with the "resolution". The call centre admin started moving agents onto Terminal Server without informing anyone. We have moved agents off of TS and will report back once this is confirmed.

@perci100: On one of my clusters I'm also running 1.8, but in the configuration it still has 1.4 - has anyone else seen this? It was a Vicibox 5 install.

the 1.4 still in the system settings is a bug in the vicibox install
but if its a manual upgrade to 1.8 then the system setting should be set manually

I did the standard install on my cluster from vicibox 5.0.3 iso and it was set to 1.4 by default. like DomeDan said i guess it is an error in the install. Took me a minute to figure that one out :) thank god for the forums.
