Vicidial not calling X-lite

I can log into Xlite and make calls

I can log into vicidial as well, BUT it will not call X-lite to sync with it. I have disabled all anti-virus and firewalls.

Any idea what could be happening?

is x-lite successfully registered to the vicidial server? was it a recent registration or "old"? some firewalls will close the port too soon even if the soft phone believes it's registered and asterisk cannot get the "ring" command through the closed port. Eventually x-lite will re-register, but the call is over by then. Try unregistering and reregistering just before logging in.

Also: if the workstation and the vicidial server are in different locations you can't actually "disable" the firewall ... unless you put the workstation on a public IP address.

Thanks for the response. I set him on on zoiper with an IAX account and got it working. Thanks!
