Differences between DEAD and DISPO

I would like to have a clarification.

Which difference there is between status DISPO and DEAD?

I saw that, when a call is hangup, in a Real Time agents result sometimes in DEAD and other times in DISPO.

What is the difference between this statuses?

DEAD means the customer has hung up but the agent has not gone to the disposition screen yet. Once the agent enters the green Disposition screen they go into the DISPO status.
