its because the script moved the file
`mv -f "$dir2/$ALLfile" "$PATHDONEmonitor/FTP/$ALLfile"`;

comment out that one too and they will be left in the MP3 dir
or change the update query to change the location to /FTP/

All working now. Backup recordings on my archive server for storage, We are still accessing the recordings on the main stand alone server, edited cron to erase old recordings after 3 months.

you should not be accessing recordings (long term) on a vicidial server unless it's an Archive server and has a mirror. Note that eventually you WILL lose a HD and at that moment you'll need to rebuild. The amount of time to copy all those recordings back is horrible. And entirely unecessary if you just move all recordings off the vicidial cluster completely. Having had to restore several client servers over the years, this turns into a headache with massive recordings in need of restore. MUCH simpler to skip those during the restore process. So links in the DB should always be pointing to an archive server's http.

One question: where can i change the port of /usr/share/astguiclient/AST_CRON_audio_4_ftp2.pl? Because one of my ftp server is already using port 21.
