Postby greenwood12511 » Tue Apr 08, 2014 8:39 am

using either xlite or zoiper. i can dial in and log on to the dialer. my screen shows me as "pulling calls" but, i dont ever get any and the main screen says i am in pause. the clock on the top of the screen doesnt run the time. it just sits on what ever time it was on when i signed in. everything was working fine for about 3 weeks. then all of a sudden this started happening. we have tried everything we can think of. i really need some help!!!! btw my download speeds are at 12

1) Welcome to the Party! 8-)

2) As you are obviously new here, I have some suggestions to help us all help you:

When you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method and vicidial version with build.

This IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "from scratch" you must post your operating system and should also post the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system. If your installation is "Hosted" list the site name of the host.

If this is a "Cloud" or "Virtual" server, please note the technology involved along with the version of that techology (ie: VMware Server Version 2.0.2). If it is not, merely stating the Motherboard model # and CPU would be helpful.

Similar to This:

Vicibox X.X from .iso | Vicidial X.X.X-XXX Build XXXXXX-XXXX | Asterisk X.X.X | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation | Intel DG35EC | Core2Quad Q6600

3) "Pulling calls" is not a term I would advise using when requesting technical support. Please state the actual text and where you see it that makes you believe you are "pulling calls". This sort of vagueness can cause delays in helping you ... 8-)

4) Download speed is pretty much meaningless. Telephone calls are Two Way audio. So download AND upload speed are equally important. In fact, as many people "forget" the upload speed, it could be argued that it is more important when it is often less than 10% of the download speed all the sales reps want to talk about. Unless you're just watching netflix, which is not what we're talking about. But I digress, as this is probably not related.

5) Is the workstation in question in the same physical location as the Vicidial server?

6) Did you have a power outage or other "incident" (possibly overnight ...?) If so:
Code: Select all
mysqlcheck --auto-repair --all-databases -p

And then enter your root mysql password (if you know it). If there is no root mysql password, remove the "-p" from the end. I often run this TWICE and then reboot to bring a client server back online quickly after a power outage.
