1) What is a "disturbance"?
2) How did you install your system? (Vicibox? What version of the installer did you use?)
3) How long does the disturbance last? If it's only a couple seconds, you could introduce a 2 second "wait" before sending the call to the IVR ...?
4) How is the IVR configured? It's entirely possible that your first recording is just corrupted.
