I am interested in the stable configurations of vicidial currently in production. I noticed Matt mention versions once or twice recently, but wanted to gather it all together.
What version of Asterisk do you run?
What version of Vicidial do you run?
What PRI hardware are you using?
Have you used any PRI hardware that you would or would not suggest?
Sangoma, Digium, etc. etc.??
I am just about to get another PRI interface and wanted to see what people found was the most stable with the best audio quality.
Thanks,
Trevor

I am running the following on most of my VICIDIAL servers:
- Asterisk 1.2.17
- astguiclient 2.0.3
- Slackware Linux 11 with 2.6.17.11 kernel
- both Digium and Sangoma T1 cards
I do not notice any audio quality difference between the Digium and Sangoma cards, but the Sangoma cards have a 5 year warranty where the Digium cards have only a 2 year warranty. Sangoma cards have several extra steps you have to go through to get them working with Asterisk.

Are you using stock PRI cards or the ones with the Octasic DSP echo cancellation?
Thanks,
Trevor

I have tried both with HWEC(Hardware Echo Cancellation) and without and when using PRI circuits in the US I haven't noticed any audio quality difference, but I do notice a little performance boost when using the HWEC.
