Hii
I have newly done a scratch installation of vicidial
VERSION: 2.10-448a
BUILD: 140706-0927
Asterisk version - 1.4.39.0
I have three queries
1.
While logging in the ../vicidial/admin.php we get "system summary" as a default page. As my dialer is hosted and i will be sharing with different usergroups, its shows all my dialer statistics to all user groups like this---
System Summary:
Agents Logged In Agents In Calls Active Calls Calls Ringing
Records Active Inactive Total
Users:
Campaigns:
Lists:
In-Groups:
DIDs:
Total Stats for Today: [view max stats]
Total Calls Total Inbound Calls Total Outbound Calls Maximum Agents
Total Stats for Yesterday: [view max stats]
Total Calls Total Inbound Calls Total Outbound Calls Maximum Agents
I just want to show individual statistics of respective groups in their system summary if possible. And if it is not possible then i want to change my default page to user list.. how to do that?
2.
In the agent login of the same above dialer, I am not able to find "MANUAL DIAL" option. how to get that?
3.
How to upgrade to newer vicidial?
Regards
Abhishek

Hi, to the 1. point i can say nothing...
to 2. point it is in the Admin mask under Campaign is green lighted the dial method here change to manual... ready...or you mean that the Agent do a manual call in the running predictive Campaign? Then go to Users and klick on a user search for Agent call manual... give a 1 and ready...
to 3. you have the newest version...

I need to have the same thing done here.. I have multiple user groups in the older version users were displayed not total of all calling as it is now.. Hopefully someone can help us change this to a new default screen please reply. As it is confusing user groups as to why there are calls made when they didn't make any calls yet.

I went to user groups and under view reports for each user group. You can select all reports except maximum stats and such .. For each user group. Hope this helps.. Is this way each user group only has permissions to view what ever reports you want them to see.

We need to be able to not allow certain user groups to view system summary.. Thats the issue here i think .. Even if all report views are disallowed system summary still is viewable by all admins in user groups

That's what "Allowed Reports" in the User Group settings is for. I just tested it and if you don't select the Summary report it won't be viewable by users in that group.

There is not a summary report in allowed reports drop down menu in user groups Where is it then i looked I'm using version 2.8 -440a build 140521-2101. That the problem or am i missing something.
Thanks , thats what i thought too but i dont see SUMMARY REPORT IN ALLOWED REPORTS FOR USER GROUPS.
The system snapshot stats screen is what we are talking about not allowing certain user groups to see when they log in as an admin.. . Thats really the issue sorry

I have no idea why it wouldn't be in there, it's hard-coded in the source code of admin.php as "Real-Time Campaign Summary". It's the 4th entry in the multi-select list on the modify user group page. In fact, you can see it right here on the demo,
http://www.vicidial.org/vicidial_demo/a ... oup=000001If you can't see it I have no idea what's wrong with your system.

I have tried selecting "none" or selecting specific reports and excluding "Real-Time Campaign Summary", But that page is still coming.
as vicidial doesnot allow posting url u can assemble the words below and open that snapshot to view what it show in my /admin.php
give drive dot g oo gle dot c o m then the below

After reading this all over again, I saw that it is the Front Page System Summary that you wanted to hide. That option wasn't in there, so I just added it to svn/trunk. Just upgrade to the most recent svn/trunk version and you will see it at the bottom of the Viewable Reports select list in the modify user group page.

Checkout the latest SVN/trunk version on all of the servers in your cluster,
http://wiki.vicidial.org/index.php/SVN:howtoThen read the UPGRADE doc for the steps to perform the upgrade.
The data in your database should not be affected by performing the upgrade. So it's safe.
