I like to avoid any delay in connecting the agent to the customer, so prefer to use manual as the selected pacing mode.
It would be nice if it could automatically dial the next number rather than the agent pressing dial next number each time? Like a forced dial after delay, but in a manual mode. Is this just a setting I can't find?

Would Ratio dial with a 1:1 ratio not do what you need?

@geoff3dmg - no, because it still has a delay when the call is answered to pass to the agent. i want the agent to hear the ringing and be connected the moment the call is answered. any suggestions?

There shouldn't be a delay if you aren't using AMD. Regardless it sounds like you should be using a Manual Dial campaign. So they have to press the 'Dial Next Lead' button.

An analog trunk (regular PSTN lines) will do just about that. The call gets passed to the agent right when it starts to ring. You can also try to connect to another Asterisk box that automatically answers the call so the call gets connected to the agent immediately.

Thanks @gardo. I don't have another asterisk box to handle that unfortunately. I know from using a Noble System it's just one of their dial methods. Preview dial (After Delay or On Demand) - Currently vicidial in those terms only has on demand.
