please i have followed the manual and i haven't made any head way in getting calls to ring on my extension, i keep getting errors and it seems the manual doesnt just corespond with the kind of interface i have...
Please i need to get this done ASAP as ma ass is on the Line.
i keep getting this:
handle_request_invite: call from 'GokeS1'(mysipprovider ip address) to extension 'GokeS1' rejected because extension not found in context 'trunkinbound'
All i want is to pickk up my phone and call this my no 014405532 and it should ring on my extension 8001.

Ok, after you did your set up did you do your /usr/share/astguiclient/ADMIN_update_server_ip.pl ? I seen that a lot of people skip over this step and it really helps with the issues you are having. Also, To help any further i or anyone else here would really need to see more of your CLI output. And 1 other thing. Who is your VOIP provider?

If the call arrives at trunkinbound and does not pass through to the vicidial did agi script, you have a problem with your trunkinbound or the extension being dialed.
Most importantly: GokeS1 is not an extension. It should be dialing a NUMBER and then the number will invoke the _X. extension in trunkinbound in extensions.conf. This, in turn, will turn the call over to the vicidial DID agi script and ... the rest is handled by Vicidial.

post your carrier settings..

as your inbound call not showing your DID , instead its showoingthe username or account name as GokeS1.
