We have a outbound calling setup to make calls from India to USA with around 30 agents.
CentOS 5.6 : Asterisk:- 1.4.39.1-vici VERSION: 2.4-309a BUILD: 110430-1642
We have below call flow :
Make automatic outbound calling to customer.
When they pick up our agents speak to them.
After that agent click on Transfer.
Then enter the number and click on Dial with customer.
When the 3rd call gets connected, our agent leave the conference call by clicking on leave 3 way call.
Customer and the 3rd party can communicate properly.
Our issue is some times there is voice breakage after the leave 3 way call (i.e in cusomer and 3rd party's call conversation). We even have issue that we have to try calling the 3rd party's number multiple times. After multiple attempts the call connects.
Before conference call everything is normal but at conference time customer and third party not able hear each other properly. This issue is with all conference calls. We are using Audicode device for calling.
Below are some useful details we already checked.
==> Tried using ulaw, alaw, and G729. Problem with all.
==> Worked with more than 4 different VoIP providers but have same issues.
==> Bandwidth is normal. We have 12MBPS bandwidht and only 5 to 6 MB in used at calling time.
==> No packet loss on router.
==> Load on server:- maximum 2.0 (12 core with 32 GB Ram, cache size : 15360 KB, cpu MHz : 2000.059 )
==> From server to Audiocode device packet monitoring. No packet loss.
==> Normal router load
==> Normal tranffic on server ( Checked sending and receiving packets on router)
==> No Firewall / iptables.
==> We have more than 6 same setup. Every where we face the same issue.
Due to this issue we even formated the server twice but the issue still persist. The voice issue is only with conference calls and after transfer between third party and customer.
