recording_log and manual dialing

Hi,
My question is about manual dialing for agents logged in to campaigns.
Normally records from recording_log and vicidial_log are linked by uniqueid (vicidial_id in recording_log).
But when i make manual dial, my vicidial_id is set to null. If this is correct, what is the other way i could retrieve a location for files dialed manually?

Upgrade to latest svn/trunk version. Many changes in manual dial logging have happened in the last year to the code.

I have just updated a test server to Goautodial 3.3, VICIDIAL VERSION: 2.9-441a BUILD: 140612-1628 and i can see some improvements
Made a few manual calls and vicidial set vicidial_id based on a uniqueid as it does on auto dialing.
