Moving from single server to Clastering

Postby attila.szabo » Mon Dec 08, 2014 5:44 am

I am about to purchase a server to run Vicidial. I would install the server to as a single server doing all the jobs for now, but eventually I we would upgrade to clustering in the next year or two.
So the question is How easy or hard to move from single server to clustering?
The current load would be 10 trunk and maximum 15 users (not all doing calls) at the same time (30 profile all together). I am expecting to grow to up to 20 simultaneous calls in the next two years so it would make sense to me to do an install of single box for now with the right configuration of a database server up to 150 users, than move to 2 server solution later as we grow.

If you are using Vicibox it is pretty easy to add a dialer to your existing all-in-one system. Just follow the installation questions in Vicibox as you install it on the second server.

Thank you, I thought it shouldn't be that hard, but never done it so I thought it is better to ask
