Hi
I know that vicidial use meetme so it needs DAHDI for conferencing engine but it seems it is not
necessary to use DAHDI for timing also. So Is it possible to use res_timing_timerfd as timing source
in vicidal as asterisk wiki recommendation ?

The dahdi timing is for the dahdi modules. I doubt that the asterisk wiki specifies a timing source for Vicidial. LOL. Note that there is a lot of timing going on. There's also timing in perl (can not using res_timing_timerfd for that either).

So my question is: Why are you delving into this? Are you having a problem with your Dahdi?
