Missing confgiure on mpg123-0.59r step

When installing this package on my Slackware 10.2 box there is not a ./configure file after unzip it? I downloaded the file the site at http://www.mpg123.com/mpg123/mpg123-0.59r.tar.gz.

Tried downloading and installing 2 times but there was love.

Any suggestions ?

I am moving forward on this install as this is optional but any help would be appreciated (ps I am a newb to Linux)

mpg123 is actualy not required for VICIDIAL at all. You can skip. I have not installed it in quite a while. If anyone out there has updated instructions, please post them.
