Every loaded lead must have unique id?

if I want to have unique id for every loaded lead, how can I realize that?
I have two fields VENDOR ID and SOURCE ID !
EXAMPLE
If I load one list with 10456 leads. Field VENDOR ID will be from 1 to 10456.
But when I need to load another list I must to remember last VENDOR ID number and I will put for second list VENDOR ID number from 10457 to 20789. On this way I always must remember last VENDOR ID !?
Also what is the range of numbers of field VENDOR ID (from x to xxxxx)?
Please any suggestion or solution?

And you do not want to use the Lead_ID field from the asterisk_list table because ....?

No,no. I use Lead_ID field! William you did not understand me completly.
Example: If I loaded 100 lists (Lead_IDs from 100 to 200) (total=200000 leads).
What will be unique ID for every lead ?

lead_id field is a the unique ID for every lead. That's the definition of that field and it's purpose.

list_id is a different field and groups leads together into lists, which are assigned to campaigns.

you are right ! I inadvertently replaced list_id and lead_id while I was reading

System automatically assigns Lead_ID for every loaded lead!
I did not pay attention on that field at all!
