drop call seconds

Postby ian » Sat Apr 12, 2008 4:33 am

We are runninng a campaign for client and we need to dial out and have the drop call seconds at 1 sec, this does not seem to work when we set it in vicidial campaign. Is there a setting in the config that we can set this and so when someone answers or it detects answer phone vicidial hangs up with out sending call to agent.

Asterisk version?

astGUIclient version?

Could you explain in a little more detail exactly what is not working?

examples and Asterisk CLI output and/or logfile output would be good.

hey Matt, i have the same issue that is being described on my system.

VERSION: 2.7-401a
BUILD: 130508-2256

I set ratio to 2, resumed call as 1 agent and I notice that the drop takes about 10 seconds instead of 1 as it's set in the campaign settings for Drop Call Seconds (action is hangup)

The below capture is everything after the second call is initiated (includes the first call connecting) - also the list uses the same phone number over and over, hopefully you can decipher what is set incorrectly?)

Code: Select all

The version you are using is over 2 years old. I would suggest upgrading before attempting to troubleshoot.

Yes, you would need to use the standard vicidial interfaces if you upgrade.

You COULD check the later versions of GoAutoDial. While I don't recommend GoAuto, if you're already using it and feel the need to stick to it, it DOES have an upgrade path.

Alternately (just for fun), you could test by creating a fresh install and bringing your data over (and upgrading the DB, of course) to see if that resolves your problem. Then you can decide if the fully functional Vicibox.com .iso based install with the latest version of Vicidial is better than the old busted goautodial version. LOL (If you don't have spare hardware ... just pop in a new HD to the old box for the test, and put the original HD back if you choose to revert).

I'm actually looking at building an agent display panel and going back to vicibox latest install. Too many bugs and constraints with go autodia
