Most rooms take a slightly different approach, however: It is fairly simple to set up a sip phone to shunt calls from one server to another.
Master server has the settings in "Admin->Phones" for the extension and registration password.
Client server has those same settings, but in "Admin->Carriers" as if the master server were a telco. Technically, it IS the carrier for these inbound calls and can be treated as such. If you consider the master server to be a telco, and set it up as a normal carrier ... it works just like one. The DID that will be called is the "Dialplan Number" in the Master Server's phone record for that phone. This can be set to just about any number you like to simulate a regular 10 digit DID.
If you're looking for is a DID pass-through, that's a little more complex
