can anyone tell me why putty would show more active calls than the front end vicidial screen?

this is running up my bills as these calls are running in putty

please help is there a setting that i have to change on vicidial?

Vicidial only shows Vicidial calls. If you login to the Asterisk CLI it will show you all of the channels, those are two different things. Each Asterisk "call" can be made up of 1-4 Asterisk channels.

is your server is public accessible? if so it might be under attack by hackers.

Post an example. Note that calls with "meetme" can be the call to your agent from vicidial (not a paid call, as a rule). So ... you may want to show us what you mean so we can tell you how to interpret it.
