Inboud DID Not working, Please Help.

I am attempting to configure a DID number.

I create a new DID number and enter the DID as the extension of the DID.

Then when I attempt to dial the DID I get following in asterisk...

Call from 'XXXX' (XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:5060) to extension '15555551212' rejected because extension not found in context 'default'.


??? How did I get here.???

Well I am going through the tutorials in the manual and I'm in the section on Inbound DID's.

I can use any help you can provide.

As it says in the manuals, you must set your incoming carrier context to "trunkinbound". You must have either not set it or set it to "default" based on the information you provided.
