AC-CID Configuration for approx. 50 DIDs

We're trying to determine the best way to configure Vicidial to allow us to use the AC-CID feature in Vicidial.

We use Vitelity for our inbound DIDs and Flowroute for predictive outbound. Everything is configured and working for our static callerid/DID configuration.

I have the AC-CID settings configured and working (the correct callerID is being presented for each areacode). All that remains is to "get them ringing" when called.

Do I need to configure each DID in Vicidial or can I just route the DIDs in Vitelity over our existing inbound Vicidial trunk?

We already have two DIDs configured in Vicidial which are routed over our inbound Vitelity trunk but we also have other DIDs routed through the same Vitelity trunk which terminate at a FreePBX server. It is configured like this for legacy reasons and we eventually plan separate the DIDs in Vitelity into two distinct trunks/routes.

So basically what is the easiest/fastest/cheapest (pick three ) way to configure Vicidial for 50+ DIDs?

A better question would be why you have inbound to FreePBX at all? LOL

Something is amiss in my understanding of what you are doing. You can either configure each DID in Vicidial ... OR you can configure the "default" did to route the way you want all of them and that will act as a "catch all" routing for those you have not yet configured.

That being said, you should immediately set up vicidial as a different account at Vitelity. Preferably as an IP based account instead of registration, but if you must use registration you must get it an account of its own regardless.

I suggest configure each DID in Vicidial, this is how we do it.

If they are all going to the same place you could use the default did option in vicidial and then point them all to your vicidial box. I assume you are trying to have a did for every state right? Have you entered the area codes for every state and assigned them a DID in the AC-CID?
